Martine Georges-Naïm

Martine Georges-Naïm focuses her practice on the electronic communications and information technologies sectors.
She is recognized for her extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment for communications networks and of the full range of related legal and competition issues.
She graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Government and Administration Section) and the University of Paris II (DEA in Public Law and in Labour Law).
Martine Georges-Naïm previously held positions as:
- Head of mission to the General Secretariat of Pechiney - Ugine - Kuhlmann;
- Head of mission at the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication;
- Member of the Legal Department at France Télécom,
- General Counsel of the Directorate General for Post and Telecommunications (Ministry of Post and Telecommunications) where she participated in the preparation and application of the 1990 and 1996 laws relating to telecommunications regulation and the status of France Télécom.
She is also :
- A lecturer at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST),
- A member of the consultative commission on networks and electronic communications services,
- A member of the editorial committee of “Communications & Stratégies”.
Martine Georges-Naïm is a Chevalier of the National Order of Merit.
She has been a member of the Paris bar since 1997.
She is recommended by European Legal Experts in the category “IT and Telecommunications”.
Before joining Bersay & Associés, in 2005, Martine Georges-Naïm was in charge of “Telecommunications and Information Technologies” at Moquet Borde & Associés, then at de Pardieu Brocas Maffei & Leygonie,
